Welcome to
Shawn, Anna, Noah, & Giovanni
Anna is a worship leader, singer, song writer, and intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City; Shawn owns his own business and works from home. We live in Kansas City, serving this 24/7 prayer ministry and the global prayer movement.
In 2013 we founded The Luke 2 Foundation, a nonprofit Christian organization that gives financial aid to the short-term and emergency needs of intercessory missionaries all around the globe, as well as the poor, widows, and orphans here in Kansas City.
Shawn and Anna met in Colorado during the summer of 2001. After several years of dating long distance (Anna was attending school in Boulder, Colorado while Shawn served on staff at the International House of Prayer), they married in March 2005. In February 2012, Noah Blanc was born. (And boy is he cute!)
Anna
Just like Anna from the Bible in Luke chapter 2, Anna Blanc spends her days in the prayer room serving the Lord night and day with prayer and fasting. She is currently a singer and the co-worship leader with Justin Rizzo's worship team.
Over her years at IHOPKC, Anna has also sung with Tim Reimherr and Marcus Meier, served as the director of the Bethany Healing Rooms (a healing room which gave special ministry to people who were chronically or terminally ill), taught advanced classes on prophetic singing at the music school at International House of Prayer University, and lead her own worship team in the Justice Prayer Room.
Anna desires to write songs that touch the heart of God and heal the brokenhearted. Before going into Christian ministry, she obtained a degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Shawn
Shawn moved to Kansas City in September 2001. For several years he played drums for Merchant Band and traveled with the onething Young Adult Conferences. He later became the Director of Marketing for IHOPKC and led the print, Web, branding, and editorial teams. In 2011 Shawn transitioned off IHOPKC staff to start his own business and work from home.
Noah
Noah was born February 25, 2012. He likes to eat sweet potato whenever he's not rolling around in the living room, going for a ride in the car, or laughing at his own jokes.
